Emilio J. Juarez-Perez (born Emilio José Juárez Pérez, Porcuna - Jaén - España, 1980)

Background

As a Chemical Engineer from Universidad de Granada (1998-2003), including a final grade research project at University College of London (2003-04), I have garnered diverse research experiences. Accomplishments include being an FPU fellow, earning an Outstanding Award PhD in Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, ICMAB-CSIC (2009), and being recognized as a KAKENHI Young Principal Investigator by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (2017). Currently, I hold a position as an ARAID researcher since mid-2019.

Since 2013, my expertise has centered on fabricating and characterizing hybrid perovskite-based optoelectronic devices, leading to a consistent publication record and recognition in the top 2% of scientists by Stanford Ranking since 2017. With a multidisciplinary background in Chemistry and Materials Science, I've contributed to various research projects in academia and industry. Currently, I am immersed in the advancement of novel Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), photobatteries, and the exploration of innovative Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms customized for perovskite-based solar cells.
